These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Cameron Sajedi, the operator of Deleuzion (the "Service", "we", "us"). Deleuzion is a private, invite-only alpha. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 16 years old and have received a valid invite to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Access is personal and may be withdrawn at any time during the alpha.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" during a private alpha. Features may change, break, or be discontinued, and data may be lost. We make no guarantee of availability, reliability, or fitness for any purpose. Do not rely on the Service as the sole copy of anything you value.
"User Content" means anything you submit to the Service — marks, comments, notes, boards, links, titles, and any video, audio, transcript, or image you upload or contribute.
You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid-up, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, display, and process your User Content — and any data derived from it, such as vector embeddings, transcripts, and graph relationships — for the purposes of operating, providing, securing, analyzing, and improving the Service.
For User Content you have made visible to others (for example, shared into a collection or onto a board), this license continues, to the extent needed to keep providing the Service to those others, even after you stop using the Service. Otherwise the license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for residual backup copies and for aggregated or de-identified data that no longer identifies you.
You represent and warrant that:
You agree not to: upload or share content you do not have the rights to; post unlawful, infringing, harassing, or harmful content; upload malware; scrape or harvest beyond ordinary use of the Service; circumvent access controls or the invite gate; or attempt to copy, reverse engineer, or derive the source of the software. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact us at cameronsajedi@gmail.com with: identification of the work, the location of the material on the Service, your contact information, and a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized. We will review and may remove the content.
The Service — including its software, design, the transit-map and corpus systems, and the "Deleuzion" name and marks — is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you no rights in the Service other than to use it as permitted here.
Collections may reference videos and other material hosted by third parties (for example, openly licensed conference recordings). That material is governed by its own license and the terms of the host. We do not own or endorse third-party content, and attribution shown for openly licensed works reflects their respective licenses.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, to protect the Service or its users, or to wind down the alpha. Sections 3 (for previously shared content), 7, 10, and 12 survive termination.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. The alpha is provided free of charge; our total liability for any claim is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may update these Terms. We will give notice of material changes and record the version you accepted. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is principally established, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there for any dispute — subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
